Amnesty InternationalI have just read this Wikipedia link at the bottom, about a person I did not know of.
It is related to my previous Journal. His name was Jean Améry.
He was half Jewish and was a resistant in his country, Austria, during the Nazi persecutions and murders. He was sent to several concentration camps. He survived.
He was released in 1945 and came to France.
He died in 1978.
