Both fractals are old ones from FE.

The white motif was derived from a file by *titiavanbeugen.

Every time I look at one of your pictures, my mind is filled with vivid images. This one makes me thing of a plant on an alien world.

Well it's nice to think that people can find pleasure in what I do.
Thank you. :)

Strange association... The white motif looks like a mix between a coat-hanger and a christmas tree (a very odd one, I'll admit), while the background fractal looks like a microchip.... or a very, very complicated maze. Looks like you're trying to put some life and joy into the machine's emotionless workings... (this might be the 'alien world' ~m.scharf is talking about, and my 'christmas tree' the plant he meant). A composition that speaks to us, but of what, exactly? ;)

It's the Sierpinski motif of triangles which is quite well known.
Gosh I'm half asleep. :)

Of course it is well known.. except by me, and it wouldn't have changed anything to my comment had I known it!
Then, for Pete's sake, go to bed and to sleep! the real world is waiting for you tomorrow, and it is grim. Slep well, Shoshana :sleepy: , and I won't wish you sweet dreams anymore. ;)
